10 Ways to Use ImageAI to Grow Your Business This Month

If you’re still hunting for stock photos or waiting on a designer, you’re already behind. With Thryv’s ImageAI, you can create custom, post-ready images in under a minute, without ever leaving your marketing platform.

The real advantage isn’t just speed, it’s consistency. When your visuals match your message across social, email, search, and your website, your business looks more professional, builds trust faster, and converts more customers.

Below are 10 tactical ways to start using Image AI this month, with step-by-step prompts you can plug in immediately.

1. Create Seasonal Promotions That Drive Urgency

Seasonal marketing works, but only if your visuals match the moment.

How to do it:

1. Open ImageAI built into Thryv Marketing Center
2. Enter a seasonal prompt
3. Generate and apply to your campaign

Prompt example:
“Bright spring promotion for a local landscaping business, fresh green lawn, flowers blooming, sunny lighting, text space for discount offer”

Pro tip: Pair this with a limited-time offer in your caption to increase conversions.

2. Show Before-and-After Transformations

Nothing sells like results.

How to do it:

1. Generate a “before” image (problem state)
2. Generate an “after” image (solution state)
3. Use side-by-side in social or ads

Prompt examples:

• Before: “Cluttered garage, dim lighting, messy storage”
• After: “Organized garage with clean shelving, bright lighting, modern look”

Best for: Home services, beauty, fitness, cleaning businesses

3. Upgrade Your Blog Feature Images

Blogs with strong visuals get more clicks and keep readers engaged longer.

How to do it:

1. Identify your blog topic
2. Generate a custom header image that matches the theme
3. Upload directly to your blog or website

Prompt example:
“Small business owner using tablet in a modern office, warm lighting, professional and approachable”

4. Build a Scroll-Stopping Social Post Series

Consistency builds recognition and trust.

How to do it:

1. Create a theme (tips, FAQs, promotions)
2. Generate a batch of images with a similar style
3. Schedule posts in advance

Prompt example:
“Minimalist social media graphic for small business tips, clean background, bold text space, modern branding”

Pro tip: Use similar wording in each prompt to keep branding consistent.

5. Design Email Banners That Get Clicks

Your email header sets the tone for the entire message.

How to do it:

1. Generate a banner image aligned with your campaign
2. Insert into your email marketing tool
3. Match with a clear CTA

Prompt example:
“Professional email banner for summer sale, bright colors, clean layout, subtle product imagery”

6. Stand Out in Google Business Updates

Your Google Business Profile posts are often your first impression.

How to do it:

1. Create a weekly update (offer, event, tip)
2. Generate a supporting image
3. Upload directly to your profile

Prompt example:
“Local bakery promotion, fresh pastries on display, warm lighting, inviting atmosphere”

Why it matters: Visual posts help your business stand out in local search results.

7. Enhance Your Service Descriptions

Don’t just tell customers what you do, show them.

How to do it:

1. Identify each service you offer
2. Generate a unique image per service
3. Add to your website or listings

Prompt example:
“Professional HVAC technician installing air conditioning unit, clean uniform, residential home setting”

8. Promote Events Without a Designer

Events need attention fast and Image AI helps you move quickly.

How to do it:

1. Define your event (sale, grand opening, workshop)
2. Generate an event graphic
3. Use across social, email, and listings

Prompt example:
“Grand opening event graphic for small retail store, balloons, crowd, celebratory mood, space for event details”

9. Elevate Testimonials With Visual Credibility

Testimonials are powerful but visuals make them believable.

How to do it:

1. Take a real customer quote
2. Generate a branded background image
3. Overlay the testimonial

Prompt example:
“Clean, modern background for customer testimonial, soft gradient, professional and trustworthy feel”

10. Refresh Your Website Without a Full Redesign

Outdated visuals can quietly hurt conversions.

How to do it:

1. Audit your current website images
2. Replace generic stock photos with AI-generated visuals
3. Keep style consistent across pages

Prompt example:
“Friendly small business team working together, natural lighting, authentic and approachable vibe”

Why it works: AI-generated images can match your brand and industry automatically, creating a more polished, cohesive site.

If you want better results from ImageAI, follow this structure:

[Subject] + [Setting] + [Style] + [Lighting] + [Purpose]

Example:
“Local plumber fixing kitchen sink, residential home, realistic style, bright natural lighting, marketing image for service promotion”

The biggest barrier to consistent marketing isn’t ideas, it’s execution.

With ImageAI, you can go from idea to publish-ready visuals in minutes, without juggling multiple tools or waiting on design support.

Start with just one of the tactics above this week. Then build from there. Because the businesses that show up consistently — with strong visuals — are the ones that win more customers.
